The story of Skydance's rise to success is nothing short of extraordinary. It all began in 2010 when David Ellison, a true aviation enthusiast, was inspired by the art of aerobatic flying, or "skydancing." Starting out in a humble hangar at Santa Monica airport, Skydance soon joined forces with industry giants like Paramount Pictures. Together, they produced cinematic masterpieces that have captivated audiences worldwide, including "True Grit" and "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol."

Over the ensuing years, Skydance's horizons broadened. They ventured into diverse media platforms, forging alliances with industry titans like Netflix, Tencent, and even tech behemoth, Apple. Their repertoire is dazzling, including films like "The Old Guard", TV wonders like "Foundation", and the globally celebrated "Top Gun: Maverick".

Skydance's spirit of diversification led to the establishment of Skydance Television, the mastermind behind hits like "Grace and Frankie". Furthering their creative exploration, they launched Skydance Animation, which gifted audiences the cherished film "Luck". Not just restricted to films and TV, Skydance Interactive ushered the brand into the world of virtual reality gaming with riveting titles such as "The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners".

The Netflix-Skydance partnership has already birthed masterpieces like "The Adam Project" and "Heart of Stone". Come 2024, eager fans can revel in "Spellbound", a tale of heroism and magic, with a star-studded cast and the ingenious Vicky Jenson at its helm.

Set to follow in 2025 is the delightful "Pookoo", promising a heartening narrative of unexpected alliances and breathtaking adventures.

With future ventures including projects by luminaries Brad Bird and Rich Moore, and John Lasseter continuing to drive Skydance Animation's vision alongside Holly Edwards, this Netflix-Skydance partnership promises cinematic brilliance.

Last year, Netflix basked in the glory of significant accolades, an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film for "Pinocchio", and a Primetime Emmy for "Arcane". With such a legacy, this collaboration heralds an era of unparalleled animated wonders.
